We are surrounded by wonderful places to visit, and there is always something to do in Sunny Tsawwassen.

AREA ATTRACTIONS

Splash Down Water Park:

We are eight minutes from splashdown park. Ten acres of family fun hosts fantastic water slides, a giant hot tub, picnic areas, volleyball, basketball, and a video arcade.

Reiffel Bird Sactuary:

Take a short drive to the Reifel Bird Sanctuary. Located on Westham Island, on the wetlands of the Fraser River, the Reifel Bird Sanctuary is home to over 230 species and is the annual migratory stop for some 1.5 million birds on the Pacific Flyway. Over 20,000 snow geese travelling south from Siberia every November make an especially breathtaking spectacle.

Boundary Bay:

If you are a birding enthusiast you must visit Boundary Bay Park. You can walk along the dike trail which follows the perimeter of the bay from Boundary Bay Park east to Mud Bay. There are many good viewpoints for birding along the way.

Beaches:

Just eight minutes to Centennial Beach where you will find the region’s warmest and cleanest soft-sand beaches as well as picnic facilities, beach volleyball and nature trails.

Golf:

You have your choice of several golf courses within ten minutes. A popular choice is to tee-off in Point Roberts for a morning game and then cross the border and play on a Canadian course in the afternoon.

Historic Ladner:

Visit Historic Ladner, a charming community of unique boutiques and restaurants. During the summer make sure to visit the Ladner Village Market, a three-block long open-air market of fresh produce, handmade jewelry and had-crafted treasures.

Wineries:

The lat time we counted there were nine wineries within a half hour drive of our residence. The oldest winery in the region, 'Domain De Chaberton', has produced excellent vintages since 1991.   Its European style tasting room is delightful.  The region produces some excellent fruit wines that are well worth sampling.
